The Seinan Senior Citizens’ Club (commonly known as Seinan Senior Center or simply Seinan) welcomed many Nikkei citizens returning from the camps after World War II. Over the years Seinan has become a well-known nonprofit organization through providing various programs to Nikkei seniors in Southern California.

In July of last year, Koreisha Senior Care & Advocacy (KSCA) and Seinan formed a partnership for the purpose of establishing an adult day care service. The two partners have also decided to jointly hold a bazaar to commemorate the partnership and raise fund to further that purpose.

The joint bazaar committee of Seinan and KSCA wants to make the bazaar truly enjoyable for everyone. To that end, the committee will have members of the Seinan Karaoke Club lend their participation.

The committee would also like to invite many groups and individuals from the Southern California region to support the bazaar as co-sponsors. Finally, they want to invite members of the public who are interested in helping this worthy cause and having a good time to attend the bazaar.

The bazaar will be held on Saturday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Seinan Senior Center, 3116 W. Jefferson Blvd., Los Angeles. Free parking in the Seinan parking lot. Street parking is also available.
