The band High Five will play a variety of songs from different eras. Ryujin Taiko will also provide lively entertainment.
The Ryono family will sing the very meaningful “Yogore” song, which was written in Manzanar and describes the unique attributes of Terminal Islanders.
The picnic will also feature races and games for children; mochi-maki (mochi throwing); and ondo dancing.
The grand prize in the opportunity drawing will be $500, followed by $300 for second prize and $100 for third prize, along with many more prizes. Tickets are $5 each.
