The Little Tokyo Historical Society will hold its 2025 Shinnenkai celebration and program on Saturday, March 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Japanese American National Museum’s Democracy Lab, 100 N. Central Ave. in Little Tokyo.
The afternoon of friends, food and fun will include lunch curated by Far Bar.
There will be a special presentation on “Preserving Family Artifacts” by Kristen Hayashi, director of collections management & assets and curator for JANM.
Highlights of LTHS activities and events will be shared, and time for community ideas for future endeavors will be heard.
If you are interested in Little Tokyo’s history, legacy and future, come meet others who are also history buffs and passionate about this unique cultural neighborhood. LTHS is dedicated to preserving and sharing the history, spirit and resilience of this 141-year-old community – which was recognized as one of America’s 11 Most Endangered Historic Places by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
